Tuning by motor

F.A.Q.

Electric bikes are initially limited to 25 km/h. This means that as soon as you pedal faster than 25 km/h, the motor stops running. Once installed, you will be able to ride using your motor beyond the 25 km/h limit. There are internal kits (which connect directly to your motor) and external kits (which attach to the frame). Each motor works differently, so it is important to choose the right unlocking kit for your e-bike’s electrical installation.

It depends on the seller. We do not sell Speedbox kits; we simply present the available modules.

It depends on your engine and the kit you choose.

Installing a tuning kit has no direct impact on the battery. The only impact is how you use your bike. If you use your motor a lot, you will consume more energy.

Speedbox modules are available for many engines. Please consult the list of engines for which a kit model is available.

The three Speedbox models are only compatible with mid-drive motors (Pedelec type). If your bike’s motor is located in the rear wheel, this type of module will not be compatible.
