The SpeedBox 1.2 is the ideal solution for cyclists who want to fully exploit the capabilities of their Bafang EAB. It gives you the freedom to ride faster on private land or wherever legislation allows, without compromising the display of essential information (up to 23 km/h). Designed for easy integration, it doesn’t change the look of your bike, while boosting its performance tenfold. It’s the ideal option for simple and effective optimisation of your Bafang EAB.

- Your EAB’s display shows the actual speed up to 23 km/h.
- Tuning can be activated or deactivated by pressing the LIGHT button on the control unit of your EAB.
Installation and maintenance
- Installation is remarkably simple, thanks to coloured connectors that cannot be misplaced.
- Detailed instructions and videos are provided to guide you step by step.
- The module is also easy to disassemble if necessary.
How it works
SpeedBox 1.2 intelligently interposes itself into the system of your EAB to modify the speed sensor signal before it reaches the motor. It acts as a ‘translator’, making your bike think you’re travelling at half your actual speed. For example, if you are travelling at 50 km/h, the display will show 25 km/h, allowing the electric assistance to remain active well beyond its usual limit. Activation and deactivation is simply done using the LIGHT button. This process guarantees continuous, smooth assistance, for a powerful, enhanced ride.
Assembly
Fitting the SpeedBox 1.2 has been designed so that anyone can do it, without the need for complicated tools or advanced technical knowledge. The kit is designed to connect directly to the original connectors on your EAB, making installation almost foolproof. It usually only takes a few minutes to connect the module between the speed sensor and the motor. Comprehensive guides and video tutorials are available to help you every step of the way, ensuring that installation is quick and safe.
