Features
- Unlimited unbridling: This module removes the speed limit on electric assistance, giving you an unlimited maximum speed. You can ride at 40, 50 or even over 60 km/h.
- Displaying real data: once the SpeedBox has been installed, your EAB’s screen will display precise data such as maximum and average speeds, daily mileage and remaining range.
- Setting the speed limit: You can set the speed limit for the electric assistance of your choice.
- Activation/deactivation: Tuning can be activated by briefly pressing the WALK assist function (a display of 9.9 km/h will appear). To deactivate it, briefly press the WALK assist function again (2.5 km/h will be displayed and the speed limit will return to 25 km/h). For EABs without WALK assist, use the – + – + button combination.

- Crucial tip: We recommend that you ride your new bike for at least 10 km before activating the tuning function. For 4th generation Bosch motors (produced from 2020 onwards), it is imperative to leave the bike switched on after each ride until the display shows 0.0 km/h.
How it works
SpeedBox 3.0 intelligently interposes itself into your EAB’s system to modify the speed sensor signal before it reaches the motor. This allows you to bypass the default speed limit, by making the bike’s system believe that you are travelling at a lower speed than you actually are. So even if you’re going faster than 25 km/h, the electric assist remains active, propelling you well beyond its usual limit. You can even set your own assistance speed limit by changing the modes (Turbo – EMTB – Tour – Eco – Tour – EMTB – Turbo). This system guarantees smooth, continuous assistance for a powerful, personalised ride.

The assembly of SpeedBox 3.0 has been designed to be accessible to everyone, without the need for complicated tools or advanced technical knowledge. The kit is designed to connect directly to your EAB’s original connectors, making installation almost foolproof. It usually only takes a few minutes to connect the module between the speed sensor and the motor.
